Last December we did a podcast titled, "Firm CPR: How to Find a Good Manager." In retrospect, that episode was really about (and now renamed) "How to Evaluate a Manager" as we began from the perspective of having already found one.
As we continue to work with independent advisors this year, we've found something interesting: advisors don't really have a great way to even begin a search for good manager.
In what amounts to our first prequel episode, we discuss:
Where does one search?
Do custodians offer a solution?
Advisor networking
Software solutions
We hope you enjoy and follow us on this journey!
