BETHESDA, MD, October 27, 2026 – Potomac Fund Management, Inc. (“Potomac”), a tactical asset manager specializing in risk-management solutions, announced today that its Income Plus strategy is now available on LPL Financial’s Model Wealth Portfolios (MWP) platform.

Income Plus takes a tactical approach to total return, offering advisors an alternative to holding traditional bonds across all market environments. The strategy can adjust its exposure across fixed income, alternative investments, and cash as conditions change, while maintaining a focus on low daily volatility and risk management.

“Why should advisors have a strategic allocation to bonds at all times?” asked Dan Russo, CIO of Potomac. “Our philosophy is simple: Buy bonds when they’re working. When they stop working, the strategy has the flexibility to rotate. That’s what Income Plus was built to do, and bringing it to LPL’s MWP platform gives advisors another way to manage the fixed-income side of client portfolios.”

Income Plus joins Potomac’s Bull Bear strategy on LPL’s MWP platform, expanding the tactical investment solutions available to LPL advisors. Potomac first made Bull Bear available on MWP in October 2024, and adding Income Plus reflects the firm’s continued efforts to broaden advisors’ access to strategies for evolving market conditions.

Potomac manages $5B as of August 2026. To learn more about Income Plus, please visit: Income Plus information page.

A video thumbnail graphic set at a rock concert stage featuring bright stage lights and a cheering crowd below. On the right foreground, Dan Russo wears a grey suit jacket, striped dress shirt, and pocket square, gesturing open-handedly toward the stage with a subtle smile. Text overlay at the top reads "episode 95" in white, "UNDER PRESSURE" in large bold yellow capital letters, and "WITH DAN RUSSO, CMT®" below in white. On the stage, an anthropomorphic bull dressed in a white tank top and white trousers—mimicking Freddie Mercury's iconic Live Aid look—sings into a microphone. Next to him, another anthropomorphic bull wears a light blue suit and tie, while a bull drummer and keyboardist play in the background. A small yellow geometric logo rests in the bottom left corner.
